Cr-doped Ca2GeO4 crystals are grown by the flux method at new better conditions. Cr-doped Ca5Ge3O11 and Li2CaGeO4 crystals are grown for a first time. Crystal defects are checked and discussed. Cr distribution coefficient and oxidation state are determined. Absorption and emission spectra of the three crystals are measured and discussed.
