Evaluation of the hydrogen diffusivity in API 5L X65 and X70 alloys. ASTM G148-97 and ISO 17081: 2004 norms were evaluated. The equation adopted by the norms may underestimate the hydrogen diffusivity. It is proposed an experimental methodology to estimate the hydrogen diffusivity. It is suggested a mathematical model for a condition not considered by the norms.
