Chemosensitizing effect of Paris Saponin I on Camptothecin and 10-hydroxycamptothecin in lung cancer cells via p38 MAPK, ERK, and Akt signaling pathways
A combination of Paris Saponin I (PSI) and Camptothecin (CPT) was studied. A combination of PSI and 10-hydroxycamptothecin (HCPT) was studied. PSI enhanced the sensitivities of cancer cells to CPT/HCPT by inducing apoptosis. PSI sensitized lung cancer cells to CPT and HCPT via MAPKs and Akt pathways.
