Deep eutectic solvents (DESs) are of great importance in enzymatic reactions. cABCI is a clinical enzyme which is important in the treatment of spinal lesions. Low thermal stability of the enzyme limits its commercial application. Thermal stability of cABCI was investigated in betaine and choline based DESs. DESs exhibited a better media for enhancing cABCI stability at − 20, 4 and 37 °C.
