A facile and efficient synthesis of nitrogen-doped porous carbons (NPCs) was reported. Poly (aniline-co-p-phenylenediamine) was directed carbonized/activated to prepare NPCs. NPCs exhibit unique nanofiber-like structure, high surface area and suitable nitrogen content. NPCs have high specific capacitance, high rate capability and good cycling stability.
