First proteome-wide study of the PSbMV response in Pisum sativum 116 proteins showed a statistically significant response. The comparison of PSbMV-resistant and -susceptible cultivars shows surprising similarities. We identified proteins that correspond to PSbMV resistance/susceptibility. Changes in the amino acid pool, fatty acid content and lipoxygenase activity support our results.
