Iron oxide-carbon composite nanoparticles (NPs) by annealing iron oxide nanoparticles and eucalyptus leaves. The variations in their crystalline structure, chemical groups and composition, conformational, and elemental abundance and mean particle size with annealing temperature. Remarkable signature is retention of their superparamagnetic character and fluorescent, hydrophilic and biocompatiblity.
