iTRAQ-based quantitative proteomic analysis of midgut in silkworm infected with Bombyx mori cytoplasmic polyhedrosis virus

Proteomes of the silkworm midgut after BmCPV infection investigated via iTRAQ. Total 193, 408, 189 DEPs larvae were detected at 24, 48, 72 hpi respectively. Some important DEPs and co-DEPs were verified using qRT-PCR. p62/sequestosome-1 protein was upregulated both at the proteomic and mRNA level. It was provided clues on the defense mechanisms of silkworm to BmCPV infection.
