Time-dependent evolutions of TEC in fiber laser welding is investigated. The TEC are three-dimensional, time-dependent, and uneven. The TEC, magnetic field and Lorentz force can reach 107 A/m2, 0.1 mT and 1 kN/m3. The oscillation of TEC is closely related to the keyhole instability. Laser power and welding speed may not change the dynamic characteristics of TEC.
