Yuntoujie W–Mo bearing granites are peraluminous and classified as S-type granite. Yuntoujie granites are derived from the partial melting of Proterozoic argillaceous rock. Prolonged crystallization differentiation of melts favors the formation of W–Mo ore. The Yuntoujie W–Mo deposit was formed in a post-collision environment.
