Object-based 3D geomodel with multiple constraints for early Pliocene fan delta in the south of Lake Albert Basin, Uganda

In the case of limited data, sand distribution and geometrical parameter can be derived from sedimentary evolution simulation and modern deposition analogue analysis, thus to construct constraint cube and consequent accurate facies and property model. Object-based method was adopted to construct an accurate facies model by defining different microfacies body geometry and it can populate a much better sand distribution results honoring all the input data. 4 flow units were identified from reservoir sands by FZI and pore throat, permeability logs are recalculated by the regression equation of each flow units to adjust the final permeability model.
