Synthesis of diamond with inclusions is realized in a carbonate–oxide–sulfide system. Methodical approach of the synthesis of inclusions-bearing diamond is proposed. Inclusions of silicates, sulfides, carbonates, CO2 and graphite are obtained. Diamond crystals are found to contain defects related to nickel impurity.
