A. robusta had a higher species diversity and abundance than other tree species. Inside canopies had a higher species diversity and abundance than outside canopies. Inside canopies of A. robusta had a higher biomass yield of herbaceous vegetation. Most soil nutrients were higher under A. robusta than other tree species. Inside canopies had higher soil nutrients compared to outside tree canopies.
