An in-depth analysis of the NaNiCl2 batteries transient behaviour is presented. A general NaNiCl2 batteries modelling approach is proposed. Several comparisons between model results and real measures are shown. The reaction front position influence on the battery resistance has been analysed. A precise NaNiCl2 battery equivalent electrical circuit has been derived.
