A review of recent studies on bioplastics biodegradation in different environments. The type of environment plays a crucial role in different bioplastics biodegradation. Actinomyces, bacteria and fungi species are responsible for biodegradation. Type of bioplastic and the environment in which it is located determine its biodegradation. Components used in biocomposite production significantly affects its biodegradation.
