MnFe2O4@SiO2−CTAB composites were prepared by a one-step modification method. MnFe2O4@SiO2−CTAB composites show high removal efficiency for Cr(VI). Cr(VI) was removed by adsorption and reduction. MnFe2O4@SiO2−CTAB composites were magnetically separable and recyclable.
