A new catalyst, N-Fe/AC was successfully prepared and characterized. Magnetic N-Fe/AC was separated easily by permanent magnet and reused for 7 times. 95% of diclofenac was rapidly degraded by N-Fe/AC catalytic ultrasonic process. OH play an important role for degradation of DCF in catalytic ultrasonic process. Reaction mechanism in solution and interior of cavitation bubbles was investigated.
