Magnetite mineral microparticles (34 μm) and regenerants were repetitively used. P adsorption on Mag-MM was endothermic and spontaneous in nature. P enriched in exhausted regeneration solution was recovered as calcium phosphate. The feasibility of various alkaline solutions as regenerants was evaluated.
