Cobalt doped αMoO3 thin films were synthesized by spray process. X ray diffraction analysis shows orthorhombic phase of these films with (020) and (040) preferential orientations. Optical measurements show a direct transition and Cauchy dispersion of the refractive index. Magnetic measurements at room temperature using vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) technique show ferromagnetic behavior.
