Experimental study and analytical modeling on hysteresis behavior of plain concrete in uniaxial cyclic tension

The uniaxial tensile cycling tests were carried on plain concrete. The energy consumption, elastic modulus and damping ratio were studied. The hysteresis loops move towards the direction of strain with cycle increases. Dynamic elastic modulus decreases with the increasing of cyclic frequency. The P-M model is available for modeling the stress-strain curve of concrete.
