Effect of mass-transfer induced velocity slip (MTIS) on heat transfer of moving surface driven gas flows is theoretically investigated. A normal flow velocity component is triggered by the tangential velocity change due to MTIS through mass conservation. The thermal boundary layer is affected appreciably by the change of normal thermal convection strength induced by MTIS. New solution sub-regions appear as a result of MTIS.
