MoS2 field-effect transistor gas sensors to selectively detect various gas species at ambient environment. An innovative time constant spectrum method is proposed to determine the concentration and distinguish gas in a mixture of gas species. The method is based on the analysis on gate voltage induced transient drain current responses due to gas desorption/adsorption.
