TWP attenuated the symptoms of pouchitis. TWP reduced the levels of IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α. TWP elevated the levels of IL-10, occludin and Zo-1 proteins. TWP could be served as a potential therapeutic agent for pouchitis.
