Challenges hindering collaboration among DNP- and PhD-prepared faculty exist. Interpersonal determinants can influence collaboration either positively or negatively. Organizational structures, such as shared governance and coteaching, influence collaboration. Strategies are needed to promote effective DNP and PhD collaboration. Collaboration among DNP- and PhD-prepared faculty is needed to advance the profession.
