An in vitro BRDc model was developed using bovine PBMCs. The established BRDc model was used to examine the NORS mechanism of action. NORS significantly reduced levels of inflammatory cytokines IL-1β and TNF. NORS significantly boosted the gene expression levels of TLR4. NORS appears to limit inflammation and enhance bacterial detection ability of host.
