Curcumin earned widespread recognition due to its strong wound healing activities. Poor aqueous solubility and low bioavailability limited their pharmaceutical significance. Newer strategies are required to mitigate pharmaceutical problems related to curcumin. Nanoencapsulation of curcumin significantly improved its wound healing efficacy. Nanotechnology-based advances are future of wound healing agents.
