Hyperbranched polymers containing difluoroboron-diketonate units were synthesized. These polymers exhibited obvious red-shifts in UV–vis absorption and emission. The tunable hyperbranched architectures resulted in diverse optical properties. The hyperbranched architectures could suppress the aggregation more effectively. These polymers showed good thermal stability and solubility.
