Superior effect of RbF on decreasing the dehydrogenation operating temperature of the LiNH2LiH system

Hydrogen storage properties of the RbF-doped LiNH system was first examined. Superior effect of RbF on reducing the dehydrogenation temperatures was found. The lowest hydrogen desorption peak temperature of 211 °C was obtained. Reversibility of the LiNH system can be enhanced by addition of RbF. The RbH produced during heat treatment is responsible for the improvements.
