A new mixed laser crystal Nd:Gd0.69Y0.3NbO4 was grown by Czochralski method. The structure and spectral properties of Nd:GYNO was investigated. A maximum output power of 0.98 W with incident power of 3.13 W was obtained. Nd:GYNO crystal is a new LD pumped laser medium of 1.06 μm.
