Aromatics endcapped hyperbranched polyimides (HBPI) are first explored as polymer memory materials. Tunable memory characteristics from volatile to nonvolatile were obtained by adjusting the endcapping groups. Improved memory performances were achieved in HBPIs with large conjugated endcapping groups.
