Synthesis and characterization of ZnS nanotubes assisted by ethylene glycol

Sulfur ions replace the oxygen ion in the ZnO nanorods to form ZnS@ZnO core/shell. ZnS nanotubes could reserve the outstading morphology of ZnO nanorods. Ethylene glycol serves as surface-transformer stabilizer. ZnS nanotubes were sythesized in a moderate environment with fast steps.
