Three metal-rich nickel-gallium chalcogenides were synthesized. Their crystal structures were determined from single-crystal XRD. All the structures consist of alternating intermetallic and nickel-chalcogen blocks. Electronic structures and bonding were studied using DFT calculations. Multi-centered nickel-gallium bonding was revealed using ELI-D topological analysis.
