KSr4(BO3)3:Pr3+: A new red-emitting phosphor for blue-pumped white light-emitting diodes

Successfully synthesized KSr4(BO3)3: Pr3+ and KSr4(BO3)3: Pr3+, Li+ phosphors via solid state reaction method. The optimized doping concentration of Pr3+ in KSr4-x(BO3)3: xPr3+ is determined to be x = 0.015. Luminescence decay times of KSr4(BO3)3: Pr3+ and KSr4(BO3)3: Pr3+, Li+ are 27.92 μs and 31.52 μs, respectively. The CIE chromaticity coordinates are obtained and exhibited red emission.
