MAF-6 has been used as the desirable sacrificial-template to fabricate hierarchical porous carbon materials. The structure of template MAF-6 and the carbonization conditions play key roles in obtaining the hierarchical porous carbons. HPC1000-5 exhibits a high specific capacity (283.4 F g−1 at 0.2 mA g−1) and excellent cycling performance as electrode materials for EDLCs.
