Hot deformation behavior and microstructural evolution of Ti22Al25Nb1.0B alloy prepared by elemental powder metallurgy

A Ti22Al25Nb1.0B alloy was fabricated using element powder metallurgy. Hot compression tests under different deformation condition were performed. The constitutive equation based on the dynamic material modeling was established. The microstructural evolution was investigated by Zener-Hollomon parameters. The optimum hot working conditions were obtained at lnZ = 45.34–25.09.
