Polycrystalline Bi2Se3 was promptly produced with a high pressure synthesis method. Bi2Se3 phases with R3¯m and Pnma symmetry are dominant in the HPS samples produced at 1 GPa and 3 GPa, respectively. The Bi2Se3 was densified in a bulk with SPS, which shows an anisotropic texture. The highest ZT of 0.37 was achieved in the final bulk along the compressing direction of SPS.
