Glasses based on mineral diopside and synthetic diopside glasses were produced. The TL and OA properties of above glasses have been investigated. Synthetic glasses doped with 0.1 to 4.0% Ag presented interesting results. A mechanic of TL emission in Ag glass is proposed.
