Morphology controllable synthesis of NiCo2S4 and application as gas sensors

Three morphologies of NiCo2S4 were synthesized by solvothermal processes. The materials of NiCo2S4 were the first time used to fabricate gas sensors. NiCo2S4, common capacitor material, has gas sensing properties to an extent. Hollow sphere-like NiCo2S4 sensor exhibited the best one to ethanol at 180 °C. Formation mechanism of hollow sphere-like NiCo2S4 has been pointed out.
