Cavity configurations were studied for dual-wavelength operation of Nd:LiYF4 Laser. One cavity used PBS to split the beams polarizing in two orthogonal directions. The other cavity used an uncoated glass plane to balance the gain-to-loss. The inserted glass plane decreased the gain competition of the dual-wavelength beam.
