Biodegradation of polyurethane and its nanosilica composite based on castor oil. Biodegradation carried out under compost environment for 90 days. FTIR, SEM, DSC, Weight loss curves utilized to analyse the rate of biodegradation. Polyurethane/nanosilica composite exhibited higher rate of biodegradation.
