We accessed the safety of ultrasound-guided HIFU ablation for diffuse adenomyosis. This was a retrospective cohort study which contained 417 cases. We compared the safety outcomes between diffuse adenomyosis and focal adenomyosis. Controlling the ablation zone is crucial to ensure patients’ safety.
