Tensile yield strength – 837 MPa, rupture strength – 983 MPa and elongation – 1.45%. FZ-processing replaces HIPing or complex thermal treatments of cast β-stabilized γ-TiAl. Softening of Cr-alloyed β/B2 phase contributes to gain in rupture elongation.
