DDES gives an excellent agreement with experiment at AOAs from 0° to 90°. DDES performs better in revealing realistic 3D structures which exist in nature. In the attached flow regime, DDES and RANS/URANS modes can give consistent results. In the separated flow regime, the DDES mode outperforms the RANS/URANS mode.
