Investigations on the thermal stability, long-term reliability of LiNO3/KCl - expanded graphite composite as industrial waste heat storage material and its corrosion properties with metals
Properties of LiNO3/KCl-EG composite related to its long-term usage were studied. The composite possessed a comparatively high decomposition temperature. Thermal properties of the composite barely changed after repeated thermal cycles. 304L and C20 were the suitable containment material for the composite. The composite could be a competitive industrial waste heat medium.
