Urbanization processes in China are more rapid than in other countries. Urbanization has changed woody plant and bird species composition in Harbin city. Woody plant richness increased based on temporal and urban-rural gradient analysis. Bird species diversity is associated with changes in woody plant species. Woody plant and bird species diversity is important for urban green infrastructure.
