Rate equations of n-hexadecane decomposition underdifferent conditions were derived on thebasis of a simplified radical reaction scheme. Assuming theinitiation rate for radiation istemperature-independent, Arrhenius parameters of some importantreactions involving n-hexadecane cracking have been estimated by a series of kinetictreatments. Our estimated valuesare shown to be in good agreement with those reported in theliterature.
