Dynamic Model and Fuzzy Robust Control of Uncertain Closed-Loop Supply Chain with Time-Varying Delay in Remanufacturing

A dynamic model and a fuzzy robust control strategy of an uncertain closed-loop supply chain (CLSC) system with a time-varying delay in remanufacturing are studied in this Article. First, a basic dynamic model of the CLSC system is constructed, and the disturbance problems caused by the time-varying delay in remanufacturing, the uncertainties of the system parameters, and the customers鈥?demand are considered in this constructed model. On the basis of the Takagi鈥揝ugeno fuzzy system, this constructed model is then transformed into a fuzzy uncertain CLSC model with the time delay. Accordingly, a fuzzy robust control strategy for this fuzzy dynamic CLSC system is proposed. By utilizing the proposed fuzzy robust control strategy, the impacts of the time-varying delay, the uncertainties of system parameters, and the customers鈥?demand on the operation of the dynamic CLSC system can be restrained through the feedback control of the manufacturer鈥檚 inventory, and then the dynamic CLSC system can operate robustly. Finally, simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy by the specified uncertain system parameters and the customers鈥?demands.
