An Application of Artificial Neural Networks. Simultaneous Determination of the Concentration of Sulfur Dioxide and Relative Humidity with a Single Coated Piezoelectric Crystal
A piezoelectric quartz crystal coated with TEA was appliedto the simultaneous determination of the concentrationof sulfur dioxide and relative humidity. According tothedifferent dynamic desorption process of sulfur dioxide andwater vapor on the TEA coating, the ANN method wasused to analyze the frequency response data of the crystalat different times. The concentrations of sulfurdioxideand relative humidity can be calculated simultaneously.The average relative errors were less than 10.09%forsulfur dioxide and 11.3% for relative humidity.
