received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Huazhong Agricultural University under the supervision of Professors Qifa Zhang and Changyin Wu. He is currently conducting postdoctoral research with Professor Yinsheng Wang at the University of California, Riverside.

    Yinsheng Wang
obtained his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Washington University in St. Louis in 2001. He is currently a professor of Chemistry and the Director for the Environmental Toxicology Graduate Program at UC Riverside. Yinsheng’s research concentrates on the use of mass spectrometry, along with molecular biology and synthetic organic chemistry, for understanding the occurrence and biological consequences of DNA adducts and post-translational modifications of proteins. Yinsheng was the recipient of the inaugural Chemical Research in Toxicology Young Investigator Award in 2012 and the 2013 Biemann Medal.
