文摘
A new nanocomposite was synthesized by immobilization of Co3O4–MoO3 on graphene oxide decorated with Co–Cu–Zn doped Fe3O4 (GO/[Fe3O4]/Co3O4–MoO3) and characterized by SEM, XRD, FTIR and VSM. The nanocomposite is an efficient catalyst for the oxidation of sulfides with electron donating and electron withdrawing substituents (diethyl sulfide, methyl phenyl sulfide, ethyl methyl sulfide, 4-chlorophenyl sulfide) and simulants of sulfur mustard (2-chloroethyl ethyl sulfide and 2-chloroethyl phenyl sulfide) with 30 % aqueous hydrogen peroxide to the corresponding sulfoxide and sulfone in acetonitrile solution. The effect of the reaction temperature, reaction time and solvent on the catalyst activity were surveyed in detail. Increasing the reaction temperature, increased the selectivity towards sulfone. In addition, the synthesized nanocomposite exhibited good magnetic response. It can be recovered from the reaction medium by magnetic decantation and reused at least four times, maintaining good catalytic activity.
